We take you on an iconic Kiwi road-trip around the 'Top 'o' the South, visiting some magical places for you to capture on camera. Your choice of 1, 2 or 3 days.
Your guide is Ray Salisbury, who will assist you when needed, giving advice on where or when to shoot, and what camera settings are best.

Photography lessons > one-to-one
Just you and your mentor for a couple of hours. We meet for coffee in a comfortable venue to check out expectations, then re-visit the basics you may already know, but have long forgotten.
Topics covered will be tailored to your individual needs, but can include composition, portraiture, or just learning your camera's settings.
The choice of venue depends on your preferred style of shooting. It could be an event, an historic house, or the beach. This is where you could put into practise your new-found knowledge.
1-2 hours is a decent allocation of time without overwhelm. Subsequent lessons can be scheduled later when you feel ready.

n 2 DAY TOUR to Golden Bay
Landscapes for beginners
Take a trip back in time to picturesque Golden Bay, where life is lived at a slower pace. Learn the best way to capture the landscape.
This is a relaxed adventure, venturing off the beaten track to special locations your tutor has chosen ... wild beaches, derelict jetties, a shipwreck, historic cottages, and mirror lakes.
Maximum group size is 4. We stay in rustic accommodation and cook in a communal kitchen. A reasonable level of fitness is required to reach some of the wilder spots.

n 3 DAY TOUR to the wild West Coast Introduction to Seascapes
Visiting the South Island's rugged West Coast is entering a time warp. The seascapes here are wild and spectacular. Stunning photos guaranteed!
This is a full-on expedition, visiting rocky promontories, seal colonies, a lighthouse, secluded coves... be prepared for early starts and bring spare batteries and memory cards.
Maximum group size is 4. We stay in quality accommodation and eat out. A reasonable level of fitness is required for accessing some beaches.
